As a Data Analyst in the Business Development team, you’ll be responsible for managing and analysing data, automating reports and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your work will support key business initiatives and contribute to the firm’s growth.

The Responsibilities:

* The candidate will be responsible for gathering, organising, and managing data from multiple sources to ensure its accuracy and reliability for analysis.

* They will collaborate closely with the operations and planning team to understand the requirements for data analytics and process mapping.

* The role involves analysing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for quick wins that can drive action within the function.

* The candidate will work with internal teams to identify data sources, define the steps for reporting, and design scalable solutions for automating reports.

* They will collaborate with Data Visualisation Designers and Analysts to ensure that the data and reporting requirements are clearly defined for development.

* Part of the role includes sharing the outputs of their analysis with relevant stakeholders, incorporating feedback, and refining the analysis as needed.

* The individual will stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in data analytics, continually seeking to improve the quality and impact of their work.

* Maintaining data integrity and adhering to data governance standards is essential, as is ensuring that all processes follow best practices for accuracy and reliability.

The Candidate:

* The ideal candidate should have solid experience in collecting, cleaning, and managing data from various diverse sources, ensuring it is both accurate and reliable.

* They should have a strong background in data and reporting workflow process mapping, including the ability to perform detailed data forensics when needed.

* The candidate must be comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data and have the ability to handle complex datasets effectively.

* The individual should have demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data needs, reporting processes, and automation steps for scalable reporting.

* Familiarity with data visualisation principles is important, and experience working alongside dashboard developers or data designers is a plus.

* A strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau, is essential
