BI Data EngineerThe Role

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join a growing data function and help shape a modern analytics platform. Working at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, you will build and optimise data pipelines, develop scalable data models, and transform raw data into trusted datasets that support reporting, business intelligence, and emerging AI initiatives. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve data accessibility, quality, and governance while helping drive data-led decision-making.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Platform development.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python, alongside modern data transformation and modelling practices.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Azure.
  • Understanding of data quality, governance, testing, and documentation best practices.
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, or lakehouse architectures.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or Microsoft Graph API.
  • Understanding of AI/ML workflows and the data requirements that support them.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data migrations or transformation programmes.
  • Background working within architecture, design, engineering, or other creative industries.
  • A passion for building scalable, well-governed data solutions that drive business impact.
