Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful insight that drives real business decisions?We're recruiting for a BI & Data Analyst to join a growing Data & Insight function, helping to shape reporting, analytics and decision-making across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional with strong Power BI skills who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful dashboards, reports and insights.

As a BI & Data Analyst, you will play a key role in collecting, analysing and interpreting data from a variety of systems to support both operational and strategic decision-making. You'll work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting requirements, develop dashboards and visualisations, and ensure data quality, integrity and governance standards are maintained.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and interactive visualisations.
  • Analyse and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Create meaningful insights and KPI reporting to support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Produce reporting packs for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor, audit and improve data quality across business systems.
  • Gather and document reporting requirements from stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with technical and business teams to support data initiatives.
  • Support data governance, compliance and information management activities.


We're looking for someone who combines strong technical reporting skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.


If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LETS TALK!

  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Reporting Analyst role.
  • Strong Power BI experience, including:
  • Power Query
  • Data Modelling
  • Dashboard Development
  • DAX
  • Experience working with and transforming data from Excel, CSV and other data sources.
  • Strong understanding of data quality and reporting best practices.
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


Desirable

  • SQL knowledge and query-writing experience.
  • Experience within healthcare, charity or fundraising environments.
  • Experience using analytical techniques such as trend analysis and segmentation.
  • Experience improving and automating existing reporting processes.
