About The Role
We are recruiting for a Wholesale Commercial Advisor to support the wholesale range data and pricing team in ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Identify, report and analyse product range and sales data making sure that all information is managed and communicated to the appropriate teams and timelines. Ensure adequate audit trails and controls are followed to adhere to legislation and internal policies and procedures. Oversee range process and documentation to ensure our customers catalogues are legal, accurate, and produced on time.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Dealing with queries from a variety of stakeholders (Suppliers, Buyers, Supply Chain, Commercial, accounts etc.) in a proactive and timely manner
  • Provide clear and consistent service to Wholesale Trading and Commercial
  • Work with and coach various stakeholders to improve the quality of information being shared and transferred
  • Work to resolve customer queries and requests with a ‘right first time’ approach
  • Embrace a strong customer service culture ensuring accurate and complete data with a desire to simplify and speed up Colleague
  • Taking responsibility for building positive working relationships with all business stakeholders
  • Building an environment where best practice is shared and controls are adhered to
  • Ensuring our teams work collaboratively to deliver our ranges and catalogues to our customers
  • Consistent and robust retention of required documentation relating to our commitments and agreements with Suppliers in accordance with Groceries Supply Code of Practice.
  • Accurate production of information enabling efficient entry into systems Creation and maintenance of documentation relating to trading and pricing – new products, promotions, retail price, cost price, range changes etc.
  • Reporting and analysis of product data issuing reports to aid commercial decisions
  • Provide resolutions to invoice queries in a timely and effective manner
  • Support and contribute ideas for process improvements to ensure an efficient and profitable model is adopted
  • Review and report monthly sales figures to add value to the Wholesale Commercial function

    You’ll need skills and experience like this to be a success:
  • Experience of data management
  • Data analytics and intelligence skills to enable accurate and efficient reporting
  • Proven ability to deliver to deadlines demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment
  • Understanding of retail business and processes
  • In depth knowledge of data management and integrity processes
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to navigate websites across a variety of devices and understand their functionality
  • Excellent attention to detail
