This role demandsdeep expertise in Microsoft Synapse, PySpark, Power BI, and Azureinfrastructure, ensuring robust data pipelines, governance, andanalytics capabilities. The successful candidate will serve as akey technical leader, overseeing a team of Data Engineers whileproviding strategic direction, technical expertise, and mentorshipto enhance team performance and drive innovation. What you’ll do:Lead the design and development of scalable data solutions usingMicrosoft Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and PySpark. Architect andmanage data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategieswithin the Azure ecosystem. Optimise data pipelines and ETLprocesses for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Develop and implement best practices for data governance, security,and compliance in line with industry standards. Leverage Power BIto create insightful reports and dashboards that support businessdecision-making. Work closely with stakeholders to translatebusiness requirements into technical solutions. Provide leadershipand technical mentorship to a team of Data Engineers, ensuring bestpractices in development and deployment. Ability to work in afast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Familiaritywith DevOps and CI/CD practices for data engineering. High level ofcoding proficiency in SQL and Python.
