A fast paced engineering company based in Sheffield are looking to recruit a Systems Engineering Manager.

Using patented techniques developed within the Aerospace sector which are now being applied across multiple manufacturing industries such as automotive, construction, defence, energy and renewables.

As the Systems Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Smart Products. You will have expertise in the application of systems engineering principles and will be responsible for product definition, development, integration, and testing.

As a Systems Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and review system design specifications, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
  
  
• Conduct testing to verify and validate functionality, performance and reliability
  
  
• Lead project delivery, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  
  
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations in a clear and concise manner.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of system design, modifications, and maintenance activities
  
  As a Systems Engineering Manager, you must have previous experience in:
  
  
• Systems engineering for multi-disciplinary solutions
  
  
• Experience across the full V model: requirements, specifications, development, testing and validation
  
  
• A working understanding of hardware, software and firmware development
  
  
• Experience working across a products life cycle, from concept through to in-service and end of life
  
  
• Project management, budget management and NPI delivery
  
  
• Product and Technology roadmap generation and update
  
  
• Knowledge of data analytics techniques
  
  
• Experience in identifying and integrating compliance and standards requirements
