Systems Analyst – South Aberdeen
Overview:
As a Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in the Business Improvement Department, focusing on streamlining business processes, supporting digital transformation efforts, and ensuring data systems' integrity. Working in collaboration with the IT Systems Analyst, this role combines technical and analytical duties, emphasizing the development, maintenance, and support of IT systems and automation solutions. Your contributions will drive efficiency and support the company's strategic growth through automation, data analysis, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Automation: Collaborate in the design, deployment, and upkeep of automated business processes utilizing Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
Process Optimization: Assess current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose automation solutions to enhance productivity and performance.
Systems Integration & Development: Assist with integrating various business systems through APIs and other tools, while supporting the customization and maintenance of the company's CRM platform (Salesforce).
Data Management & Analysis: Help develop and sustain Power BI dashboards, providing actionable insights for stakeholders. Contribute to data preparation and transformation efforts with Power Query, SQL, and DAX.
Ensure Data Integrity: Implement data validation mechanisms to ensure consistent and high-quality data across integrated systems.
SharePoint Administration: Aid in managing and optimizing SharePoint for better collaboration and document management.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Offer technical support for IT systems and applications, assisting users with issues and maintaining documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Emerging Technology & AI: Explore and support the adoption of emerging technologies like AI, Microsoft Copilot, and IoT to foster innovation and digital transformation.
End-User Training & Support: Provide training to end-users on new technologies and systems to ensure their successful adoption.
Qualifications & Experience:


  • Experience:
    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    * Minimum of 2 years in a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or a related technical role.
    * Proven experience managing and customizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
    * Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for automation and data visualization.
    * Familiarity with SharePoint administration.

  • Required Skills:
    * Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform.
    * Experience developing data visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
    * Familiarity with SQL, Power Query, DAX, Python, and Visual Basic.
    * Strong analytical skills and knowledge of API integration.
    * Experience managing CRM systems like Salesforce.

  • Desired Skills:
    * Knowledge of Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce).
    * Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and PySpark (Python).
    * Experience with AI tools and models for digital transformation.
    * Understanding of IoT solutions.

    Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary: £35-55K (based on experience).
  • Benefits:
    • 28 days holiday (increasing annually to a maximum of 33 days).
