Job Introduction

We’re looking for aSupply ChainAnalyst with a real passion for the power of data to join our Supplier Relationship Management team. As an experienced Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll be able to understand complex data sets and know how to collate data captured from a wide range of sources and be confident structuring, interpreting, and analysing it.

You will manage all supply chain data including performance & logistical data.  You’ll have a continuous improvement mindset, be a collaborative team player and be a great communicator who is comfortable working with (and influencing when required) a wide range of stakeholders.

You’ll witness the real impact of your contributions while enhancing your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

We are flexible on location, the role can be office based or Hybrid. Please be aware most of the team are based in the Stevenage office and there will be a requirement to attend meetings there regularly

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of a robust supplier performance management process
  • Maintaining supply chain data records to support supplier performance management and Logistics
  • Preparing reports for regular supplier and/or client meetings
  • Consistent analysis of available data , performance data, logistics data, customer satisfaction, supply solutions logs
  • Assist with the commercial analysis of supply chain initiatives including but not limited to product rationalisation, service efficiencies and logistics efficiencies
  • Provide useful & timely reports to respective supplier relationship leads and senior management
  • Develop a suite of management information that supports business need/priorities, developing reports in line with business strategy & direction
  • Ad hoc reporting & analysis in line with overall Procurement activity
  • Support the Head of Responsible Sourcing with analysis of Responsible Sourcing data to support delivery of the Responsible Sourcing strategy
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience of data analysis and reporting and the ability analyse data and make appropriate recommendations to improve and recover service in support of operational performance, margins and sales
  • Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills with the ability to confidently handle numbers and/or undertake statistical analysis
  • Expert IT skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Power BI. Particular emphasis on use of Excel & Power BI to consolidating large volumes of data into user friendly formats (dashboards, charts, tables etc)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at a variety of levels including presenting results in a structured and professional manner
  • Reliable and able to demonstrate initiative when working with minimal supervision
  • Trustworthy and discrete in dealing with highly confidential material
  • Good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines
  • To be able to demonstrate a flexible ability to predetermine workload demand and prioritisation skills, to be able to identify the urgent business need for support

Up to £41,700 depending on experience
