Solutions Architect (Financial Reporting Migration)

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a financial project focused on migrating finance reporting from UK GAAP to IFRS. This role will involve analysing system impacts, defining integration strategies, and delivering a structured transition roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and document systems and components affected by the migration.
  2. Identify interactions between components and dependencies.
  3. Define architecture target and transition states where required.
  4. Provide solution options analysis to deliver the necessary changes.
  5. Support the creation of a detailed roadmap aligned with project delivery expectations.
  6. Deliver specifications and implementation details to guide development teams.
  7. Produce architecture artefacts to support and illustrate the transition plan.

Key Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong background in solution architecture with experience in financial reporting migrations.
  2. Proven expertise in finance system integrations and enterprise-level migration architectures.
  3. In-depth understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial compliance frameworks.
  4. Experience in designing and delivering integration projects involving financial systems.
  5. Ability to define detailed solution architectures and technical specifications.
  6. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  7. Familiarity with Workday Financials and its integration strategies.
  8. Experience in the financial services or insurance sector.
  9. Knowledge of middleware, APIs, and data transformation for finance systems.
