I'm working with a unique FS business in the search for a seasoned Solution Architect to design and oversee the implementation of cohesive technology solutions. This includes stakeholder engagement with the appropriate parties and facilitating designs through Architectural governance.

This role will be working across multiple internal and external delivery teams and the Enterprise Architecture function to ensure that designs and implementation is fit-for-purpose and in line with architecture principles and best practise.

Key Objectives

Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate architectural visions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the production of Solution designs and option papers for presentation at TDA/ARB as required for the follow design elements:

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, including within the insurance industry.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions in insurance, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and customer management systems
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in architecture frameworks and methodologies (eg, TOGAF, Zachman).
• Experience with cloud platforms (eg, Azure (preferred), AWS, Google Cloud), microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and technologies (eg, APIs, ESB, messaging systems).
• Understanding of data architecture, including data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance.
