Solutions Architect - Legal Firm | City of London | Up to £100,000

A respected law firm based in the City of London is seeking a Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver its technology strategy. This is a key role, working closely with IT, business stakeholders, and leadership to improve systems, streamline processes, and ensure secure and efficient service delivery.

🔍 About the Role:

Reporting to the Heads of IT and Business Intelligence & Systems, the Solutions Architect will lead on technical design, system integration, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll be instrumental in identifying pain points, implementing modern solutions, and supporting a hybrid working environment. This is a hands-on role with both strategic and delivery responsibilities.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and improve current IT systems and workflows

Design and implement scalable, secure architecture solutions

Drive innovation and suggest new tools to support legal service delivery

Manage system integrations (APIs, SQL, JSON, OData)

Work with Microsoft Power Apps and Azure to streamline operations

Maintain strong cyber security and ensure compliance with best practices

Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements

Support the development and delivery of the firm's wider tech strategy

Respond to escalated incidents and support complex issues

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar technical or architecture role (ideally within legal or professional services)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and integration tools

Familiar with legal systems such as iManage, Intapp, 3E, Mimecast, Litera, etc.

Experience in building and managing APIs and data warehouses

Good understanding of hybrid/cloud infrastructure

Hands-on experience with Power Apps, SQL, JSON, and other automation tools

Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with ITIL practices and structured project methodologies

💷 Salary: Up to £100,000
📍 Location: City of London | Hybrid Working | On-call rota and some out-of-hours flexibility required
