Shift QC Analyst - Chemicals

£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

We're looking for a skilled Quality Control Analyst to join our client's busy production site in Northwich. This is a hands-on lab-based role supporting manufacturing by carrying out accurate and timely testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products.

The Role:

• Perform a variety of qualitative and quantitative tests using techniques including HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, RI, SG, particle size analysis and titrations.
• Ensure products meet internal specifications and customer expectations.
• Support investigations into non-conforming products and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide technical analysis services to manufacturing and production teams.
• Maintain, calibrate and manage lab equipment to ensure accuracy of results.
• Uphold high standards of Health & Safety and laboratory housekeeping.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Chemistry (or a closely related scientific discipline)
• 3-5 years' QC laboratory experience within a manufacturing or chemical environment
• Solid hands-on experience with HPLC and GC is essential
• Familiarity with a range of other analytical techniques
• Proactive problem-solver with strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working a 3-shift pattern (Mon-Fri)

3-Shift Rotation (Monday to Friday)
06:00-13:30 Mon - Fri
13:00-21:00 Mon - Fri
20:30-06:30 Mon - Thurs (4 shifts)
