Our valued Public Sector client is in need of aSenior Secret Cleared data solution architect to design and build enterprise data warehouses

The client requires expertise in data management and analytics services to provide assistance in designing and building enterprise data warehouses. The Consultant must understand data integration needs, access requirement and system performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and document the proposed short- and medium-term strategy for the selective migration of on-premise Data Analytics solutions to cloud services or alternative IT service delivery platforms; Design Cloud-based Data Analytics solutions architectures that meet key non-functional requirements (security, compliance, performance, resiliency, and availability); Define, design, and document Data Analytics platforms, and hosting architectures in the Public Cloud with connectivity to on-premises data centres; Oversee the migration of Data Analytics workloads and supporting capabilities (e.g., disaster recovery, archiving and backup) to the selected host environment; Plan and design data migration and sizing activities; and Provide support to Data Analytics teams and technical support teams in the proper application of existing infrastructure.

Must Haves:

10 + years experience as a Data Architect Experience designing and building enterprise data warehouses in a Government of Canada Department Experience implementing data integration needs, access requirement and system performance.
