The Team

Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of Global Risk Management. They develop models, analytical tools and tests for risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. They partner with Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to build common, reusable, and scalable components. A core pillar is delivering changes across GRM; quantitative engineers will support this strategy.

Role Description

GRQE seeks a high-quality contributor to drive the book of work, supporting the team and collaborating with the tech lead to deliver outcomes. The role emphasizes opportunities to create efficiencies through automation and to shape Change Management practices.

Responsibilities
  • Drive forward Business, Product and Project Management capabilities across GRQE
  • Support Tech Lead in delivering the book of work, removing roadblocks, and enhancing team efficiency
  • Support COO in shaping GRQE future strategy
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including model deployment to target-state infrastructure and adoption of modular components, in line with Enterprise governance and Change Management standards
  • Provide project management expertise to modellers and test owners to enable effective delivery
  • Offer business support to GRQE COO (capacity planning, reports, hiring, routines, etc.)
  • Drive Operational Excellence by leading change initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate project and business management processes
  • Optimize the team operating model for project and business management practices
What We Are Looking For
  • Considerable experience in Business, Product or Project Management
  • Coaching skills to foster collaboration and problem solving
  • Experience in financial services or a related field
  • Experience in business and project management in a fast-paced environment
  • Influencing skills and strong evaluative, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Curiosity to drive improvement and a control-oriented mindset
  • Working knowledge of risk management
Skills That Will Help
  • Experience of Quantitative Engineering
  • Experience with model development and the Model development lifecycle
  • Proficiency with JIRA (Horizon tools)
  • Programming skills including Python and SQL, or willingness to learn
