Senior Project Manager – Document & Records Management - Birmingham

About the Role

CRG Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking organisation seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a business-critical Document Management and Records Management programme.

This high-profile role will lead the end-to-end delivery of the initiative, covering everything from project planning through to supplier procurement, contract award, and full system implementation.

Key Responsibilities



Own and drive the full lifecycle of the Document & Records Management project

*

Manage the procurement process, including tendering, supplier evaluation, and contract award

*

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with strategic objectives

*

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers

*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, compliance, and business units

*

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in information governance

*

Report on project status to senior stakeholders and steering groups

Essential Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience delivering Document Management or Records Management solutions at enterprise scale

*

Strong background in end-to-end project management (Prince2, PMP, or similar)

*

Demonstrable experience leading supplier procurement, selection, and contract negotiation

*

Familiarity with data governance, regulatory compliance, and information lifecycle requirements

*

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

*

Ability to work autonomously and make confident, informed decisions
