We're Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining technology and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms. We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock productivity by placing data and intelligence at the core of business processes - and for that, we need you to join us.

The Team:

Product marketing at Celonis is strategic, scrappy, and tight-knit. We value leading with empathy in our interactions, working closely with each other and other teams (often deliberately delivering projects as mini teams or co-leads of two), giving back together, and making things as simple as possible. Each product marketer is the CMO of their product domain and focused on four pillars:

  1. Defining and executing product positioning, messaging, and launches
  2. Enabling and supporting the go-to-market and marketing teams
  3. Informing product strategy
  4. Driving product adoption and success.

The role:

We’re looking for someone who loves products and wants to spend time thinking about, talking about, and working on positioning them. In this role, you’ll be owning our AI product offering and broader positioning and messaging, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing for Platform. You will partner with our product leads, AI engineers and lead our product positioning and go-to-market strategy for solutions at the heart of Celonis’ value proposition.

You’ll work hand in hand with our product teams, our go-to-market teams – think sales and presales – and our marketing team.

The work you’ll do:

Product Positioning:

  • Create product positioning and messaging for global scalability, differentiating our product within the market.
  • Craft compelling pitch decks, demos, keynotes, and event sessions tailored to the target audience.
  • Be the go-to expert on how our product showcases the capabilities of the Celonis platform.

Market Mastery:

  • Utilize sales engagement, market research, and competitive intelligence to dominate the product area market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute effective go-to-market strategies.

Inform Product Strategy:

  • Partner with the product management team to strategize and launch new products, ensuring ongoing adoption.
  • Develop a deep understanding of buyer behaviors, criteria, and influencers to inform product strategies.

Product Adoption and Success:

  • Understand the product's value proposition and competition, coaching teams on outmaneuvering rivals.
  • Work closely with the demand generation team to develop impactful campaigns driving pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with the content marketing team to produce compelling materials such as solution briefs, white papers, blogs, videos, and third-party articles.
  • Establish thought leadership by participating in events, social media, press, and industry analyst engagements.

Experience required:

  • ~8 years of experience working in software product management, presales, consulting or product marketing
  • Expertise within the data, AI or automation space
  • Track record of successfully launching AI products.
  • Excited about technical concepts and speaking with CXOs across IT and business audiences about their requirements
  • Experience presenting at conferences and customer engagements
  • Highly logical and analytical, with an enthusiasm for connecting dots between ideas
  • Proactive, with strong ownership of all the workstreams you touch
  • Agile and team-oriented, ability to give and receive feedback, change tack, and collaborate with a team to achieve a goal
  • A bias towards action and delivering measurable results with a consistent track record of successful projects
  • BA/BS degree is required, ideally in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

What Celonis Can Offer You:

  • The unique opportunity to work with industry-leading process mining technology
  • Investment in your personal growth and skill development (clear career paths, internal mobility opportunities, L&D platform, mentorships, and more)
  • Great compensation and benefits packages (equity (restricted stock units), life insurance, time off, generous leave for new parents from day one, and more).
  • Physical and mental well-being support (subsidized gym membership, access to counseling, virtual events on well-being topics, and more)
  • A global and growing team of Celonauts from diverse backgrounds to learn from and work with
  • An open-minded culture with innovative, autonomous teams
  • Business Resource Groups to help you feel connected, valued and seen (Black@Celonis, Women@Celonis, Parents@Celonis, Pride@Celonis, Resilience@Celonis, and more)
  • A clear set of company values that guide everything we do: Live for Customer Value, The Best Team Wins, We Own It, and Earth Is Our Future
