We are looking for a hands-on leader who is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The right candidate leads by doing and has a passion for solving problems at massive scale. You excel through innovation, creativity, and attention to detail. You are a collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You have experience working directly with software engineers to deliver customer facing technology products. You will have unique understanding of digital B2C products and data platforms that includes customer behavioural patterns, app development frameworks, screen size optimizations, OS specific features, and app performance.

You are technically savvy and can weigh in on the pros and cons of a technology choice while providing your opinion on trade-offs. You will practice a high degree of judgement based on data and a deep understanding of app development space. You are comfortable presenting your point of view to influence stakeholders and senior leadership. You have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Product Manager for the Prime Video App Experience team, you will work on building PV experiences across Living room, web and mobile, across geographies and be responsible for cross-client initiatives such as telemetry excellence and customer retention. You will participate in developing the strategy and vision and create a product roadmap to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market. You will develop and grow product opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
  2. Experience with end to end product delivery
  3. Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  4. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  5. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  6. Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. MBA
  2. Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
