Our customers, which include the world’s leading logos, are expanding how they use our platform, driving automation of critical customer service operations and integrating PolyAI into their daily customer service workflows.

We seek an innovative, design-focused, growth-focused product manager who can join our team and help make PolyAI the best conversational AI platform.

In this role, you will guide roadmap planning for our user-facing products, and oversee go-to-market activities for new features in the portfolio. You will be up to speed on the market landscape in order to articulate a market-differentiated product experience that addresses the sophisticated needs of our customer base. You will need to influence peers on new product introductions, run the operational practices, and oversee execution for your product areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership, organizational agility, and a strong ability to execute initiatives.
  • Build statistically-sound evaluation framework for ML features in production settings and drive continuous improvements with data feedback loop
  • Identify strength and weakness in given ML models and know when to apply them when building customer-facing products
  • Drive data collection and annotation initiatives so that we continuously supply ML models with high quality training data
  • Capable of solutioning with deployment team to fix urgent client requests, knowing the failure mode of the underlying ML models and ways to patch them
  • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, designers, and other stakeholders, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of PolyAI’s strategic goals and competitive landscape to deliver capabilities that set industry standards and advance our mission.
  • Optimize efficiency in a dynamic environment where adaptability and creative problem-solving are key.
  • Independently source, analyze, and derive insights from data to inform decisions effectively, avoiding analysis paralysis and maintaining momentum.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate characteristics and experiences to include:

  • 4+ years of product management or related industry experience, with a strong track record of expertise in Machine Learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related background that involve AI/ML or statistical systems, or relevant industrial experiences in similar roles.
  • Experiences in working with statistical systems and deep learning, demonstrating strong intuitions on how ML systems work
  • Demonstrate the ability to run statistical experiments and evaluation, and deeply value the role of data and labels plays in these systems
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational acumen, and execution capabilities in fast-paced settings.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in high-growth environments with a willingness to take risks, iterate rapidly, and pursue ambitious objectives.
  • High degree of self-motivation and commitment to continuous learning, along with strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven success in team-building, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven communication skills
