Summary
The Senior Principal Biostatistician in Early Development is responsible for all statistical work—scientific and operational—for one or more assigned trials, in collaboration with the clinical trial team.

The Role:
Independently work at the trial level, potentially co-leading with a pharmacometrician on indication or project-level activities. Propose and lead the implementation of innovative trial designs, statistical models, and data exploration methodologies. This role offers hybrid working, requiring 3 days per week or 12 days per month in our London Office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all statistical tasks on assigned trials, including protocol development, analysis plans, and reporting.
- Contributing to exploratory and publication-related analyses, including PK, PK/PD, biomarker, and statistical consultation.
- Interpreting and explaining statistical methodologies and results; supporting regulatory submissions and responses.
- Engaging with external review boards, ethics committees, and consultants.
- Representing the Early Development Analytics Function on cross-functional teams.
- Collaborating with other functions, communicating complex statistical concepts clearly.
- Establishing and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
- Proposing innovative designs to optimize dose finding and drug development, and managing program-level activities and vendor partnerships.
Your Experience:
- MS in Statistics with 10+ years or PhD with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Proven expertise in applying statistics to clinical trials, with skills in SAS, R, and familiarity with drug development guidelines.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and in early clinical development strategies.
- Knowledge of pharmacometric principles is a plus.
