We have an opportunity for a Senior or Principal Statistician to join us on a permanent basis. We can offer home, hyrbid or office working, training and support and a competitive package.


The purpose of the role is to provide statistical support to clients, across a range of projects and therapeutic areas. The Senior or Principal Statistician may also perform a supervisory role (e.g. line management and/or project management).


This role would be suitable for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in this field, who is comfortable working on projects with clients with no internal statistical support. Prior experience working closely with clinicians and other disciplines would also be advantageous. The ability to explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians is essential as well as being comfortable presenting to client teams. Whilst you will have support as needed, you will need to be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and potentially working on multiple projects for multiple clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Study statistical oversight
  • Project level statistical input
  • Review and oversight of deliverables from other CROs
  • Development and/or review of study documentation including the statistical aspects of protocols and statistical analysis plans
  • Study design, including sample size calculations, ad-hoc and exploratory analyses
  • Other statistical support as required
  • Confident programming in either SAS or R


Desirable skills/experience:

  • Study design/sample size experience
  • Regulatory experience
  • Bayesian methods
  • Experience in the following therapeutic areas would be an advantage: Oncology, CNS


Opportunities for:
