Holmusk, a 2019 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, is building a leading real-world evidence platform in mental health. We leverage data and advanced analytics to accelerate research and improve outcomes in psychiatry across pharma, healthcare providers, and payers.

We are looking for a(Senior) Medical Statisticianto contribute to and lead projects that leverage our real-world mental health database and advanced analytics to generate real-world evidence (RWE) in psychiatry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and conduct of studies using real-world data (RWD) that evaluate clinical effectiveness of interventions and effect of different exposures in psychiatry.
  • Ensure that key aspects of the study in relation to the data quality, data credibility, and statistical assumptions are considered and evaluated, with key decisions documented.
  • Work closely with the study team to define research questions, appropriate methodology, and clear deliverables.
  • Write scientific study proposals and reports.
  • Prepare datasets for downstream analysis, implement statistical methods, and interpret study results.
  • Communicate concepts and complex ideas to general and technical audiences.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team, including researchers, clinicians, and data scientists.

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant post-graduate qualification (MSc/PhD in Statistics, Epidemiology, or related discipline).
  • 3+ years of programming experience with R and/or Python.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in epidemiological and medical statistics methods employed in observational research (e.g. survival analyses, propensity score methods, among others). Experience in psychometrics and health economics is a plus.
  • Experience in data cleaning and wrangling.
  • Familiarity with a client-facing, healthcare-related environment is a plus (pharmaceutical companies, MedTech companies, consultancies).
  • Experience in scientific writing and project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
