As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will support manufacturing engineering processes, provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality and efficiency.

We Enable our Customers to Enhance the Safety, Sustainability, Resilience and Productivity of their People, Plants, and Assets.

Key responsibilities:

In our Poole site, our automated assembly line creates industry leading, lifesaving gas sensors. Our robots create circa 3 million of these a year. Our engineering team maintain and repair this line, which is critical to our business.

We have two vacancies, one for each of the below shift patterns:

PM, (2 weekly rotation):

  • Week one: Monday - Wednesday (Apply online only)

  • Week two: Monday - Thursday (Apply online only)

    WEEKENDS, (2 weekly rotation):

  • Week one: Thursday-Sunday (Apply online only)

  • Week two: Friday – Sunday (Apply online only)

  • Impact our manufacturing operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes

  • Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing processes and systems

  • Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to optimize production processes

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements

    Key skills and qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues

  • Solid, provable experience in manufacturing engineering or mechanics, (vehicle, aero, or marine, etc.)

  • Strong technical skills in manufacturing systems and processes

  • A flexible and team-oriented approach

  • Solid spoken and written English language skills
