Your role will include:



  • Managing teams to deliver data strategies and assessment of investment data architecture artefacts, identifying and quantifying inefficiencies, and contributing to the design and implementation of improvements.
  • Managing the development of compelling proposals and pitches that showcase innovative solutions for enhancing clients' operating models.
  • Managing the development of business cases, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with senior team members to deliver sustainable results for clients.
  • Conducting methodical research, analysing large qualitative and quantitative data sets, and shaping recommendations with support from experienced consultants.
  • Managing the evaluation and application of emerging technologies and innovative approaches to shape strategy, design operating models, define principles and roadmaps, and contribute to the delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Contributing to strategic and operational reviews of organisations or specific functions, working as part of a team to analyse processes at various levels.
  • Assisting in organising insights and developing compelling narratives to effectively communicate recommendations to clients.

Consulting or equivalent experience, including:



  • Strong understanding of data solutions and existing market data platforms, including data modelling, data management, data quality, master data management, reference data, reporting and visualisation, analytics and self-service business intelligence or equivalent.
  • Experience in data solution architecture e.g. establishing design principles, defining solution patterns while following architecture methodologies or equivalent.
  • Experience developing a ‘common language for data’, including data models (all types), data dictionaries, data vocabularies, taxonomies or ontologies.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data modelling principles and familiarity with processes, policies and any of the key data modelling tools.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid executive-level stakeholder interaction using clear communications and be able to form strong client relationships.
  • Experience and expertise in functional areas in Investments and Wealth Management, such as (not all): Financial product, Wealth management products, trading and execution, portfolio management, derivatives, risk modelling/monitoring, pricing, market data, custodian systems, ESG data solutions, third party data and risk systems (Bloomberg, MSCI, Sand P, Refinitiv, Charles River, Fitch, IHS Markit, SnowFlake, Denodo).
  • Experience of contributing to proposal writing, presentations and supporting pre-sales activities.
  • Manager experience as a leader of people in workstream, providing dynamic day-to-day leadership that nurtures and develops junior talent, creating effective data teams.
  • Experience in engaging with both Business and IT stakeholders to document business outcomes and objectives for large-scale solutions and programmes.
  • Led data design workshops, including defining client requirements, document data models and reviewing output with stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with peers and senior enterprise solution/data architects to align data architecture blueprints across different business units and geographies.
  • Be able to assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge to achieve business outcomes.
  • Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced project environments and demonstrate personal resilience.
  • Ability to manage ‘go-to-market’ activities such as responding to RFI / RFPs and developing high-quality proposal materials.
  • Work within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution helping them grow their career in Deloitte.


Preferably you will also have:


  • Certified in Data and AI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks (or equivalent)) and experience in designing and delivering enterprise data solutions including toolset selection, effort and cost estimation.
  • Experience and knowledge in designing Data Products for the Investment Management and Wealth industry.
  • Investment Management and Wealth certifications such as CFA, CISI, CAIA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Project Management experience of both waterfall and agile delivery approaches.
