At Choreograph, we deliver data-driven products and solutions that make advertising work better for people.

Choreograph, an affiliate of GroupM, is a global data products and technology company, purpose-built for an era that demands a new approach to data management, usage, and brand growth.

Data is the fuel that powers growth. The companies who best leverage data are creating unbeatable advantages over their competitors while simultaneously connecting with customers more effectively.

Our goal is to help future-focused businesses use their data in ways that meet savvy customers’ expectations while building trust and understanding.

About the Product and Engineering team

The Choreograph Product & Engineering team is responsible for building the technology platform that powers the way we create audiences, forecast, price, and optimise cross-channel campaigns. It is a proprietary solution with a fast-expanding user base across markets, agencies, and clients. There is an extensive roadmap of developments required to support all use cases and channels.

The team consists of specialists in product management, project management, data science, technical design, and technical account management.

Who we are looking for

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will contribute to designing and developing data science algorithms and business solutions on a project basis, advancing the progress of the data science team. You will partner closely with product management, strategy, and engineering teams to enhance Choreograph’s product offerings.

You will apply your skills across a range of data science functions: from building data feeds and pipelines supporting models, to working on models themselves and optimizing and deploying these models into production.

You will collaborate with specialists and business teams, demonstrating your technical expertise and growing your interpersonal skills.

What you’ll do

  1. Work alongside senior data and product professionals to build simulation and optimisation algorithms that drive media efficiency.
  2. Research and apply a broad range of data science methodologies, demonstrating a questioning mindset and resolving data issues.
  3. Use Python to create predictive models, analyze data, and build trends and behavioral predictions.
  4. Translate business requests into successful data science implementations in partnership with the product team and stakeholders.
  5. Understand project management at a high level—how tasks relate to overall goals and insights.
  6. Take responsibility for your projects and complete work with minimal guidance.
  7. Provide regular technical updates on projects, highlighting impacts on delivery.
  8. Support and upskill junior colleagues.
  9. Pay close attention to detail and maintain good documentation standards.
  10. Communicate effectively and collaborate well with team members.
  11. Interpret complex outputs and algorithms, simplifying them into actionable steps, and present findings internally.
  12. Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

What you’ll need

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Applied data science and analytics experience
  • Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge, with an interest in applying them to complex problems
  • A deep interest in coding and software development
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with its ecosystem
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms
  • Self-motivation and decision-making capabilities in the absence of detailed instructions
  • Clear and precise communication of complex analyses
  • Leadership in collaboration across data science, product, and engineering teams
  • Dedication to quality and continuous skill development
  • Effective communication with diverse collaborators
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Full command of English at C1 level

Nice-to-haves include:

  • Knowledge of Jira
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Understanding of Media Planning, preferably in AdTech
  • Experience in large global enterprises delivering data solutions
  • Experience with agent-based modeling solutions
