Senior Data Scientist - AI driven start-up

Salary: Up to £95,000 plus equity

Location: Hybrid, London (2 days per week onsite)

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a close-knit team and pioneer the development and implementation of their Data Science and Machine Learning projects being rolled out company wide to help benefit the end user and their experience, collaborating with designers and backend developers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics and machine learning models to optimise production and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Analyse large datasets to extract actionable insights and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
• Design and deploy predictive maintenance algorithms to enhance the reliability and performance of infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance on data science best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (4+ years) in data science, with a focus on developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin, along with experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Experience using MediaPipe, MoveNet or other similar machine learning models, ideally pose estimation
• Ability to develop and implement algorithms for real-time data processing and analysis
