Job Description:
Description : As a Senior Data Scientist for the France BNPL products, you will be part of the European and Australian Buy Now Pay Later Risk Team. Your role involves analyzing consumer risk trends, recommending credit risk strategies, and optimizing the BNPL funnel. This data-driven role impacts business outcomes and customer experience.

Your Day-to-Day:

Collaborate with P&L owners and stakeholders:

Analyze, propose, and implement strategies across the BNPL lifecycle.

Assess the P&L impact of credit strategies:

Ensure a balance between risk and revenue.

Provide insights on book quality:

Offer recommendations on risks and opportunities.

Explore data sources:

Evaluate their contributions to credit underwriting.

Partner with compliance and legal teams:

Ensure regulatory compliance of credit strategies.

Work with operations:

Assess impacts on customer communications and collections.

Requirements to succeed:

Expertise in Credit Risk Management:

Knowledge of credit performance, scoring models, and industry practices.

Experience in Credit & Fraud Risk:

Background in consumer credit risk management, fintech experience preferred.

Analytics Skills:

Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, with problem-solving experience.

Data-driven decision-making:

Experience working with credit bureaus and consumer data.

Communication Skills:

Ability to convey complex insights clearly.

Problem-solving:

Strategic, creative, and practical thinking skills.

Collaboration and influence:

Ability to work across teams and build relationships.
