Data Science Team

What will you be doing?

As Our Senior Data Scientist, You Will
Work closely with engineering and product managers to develop and deliver our Search and Recommendations roadmap
Oversee the design and implementation of technical work of your team, and ensure high quality coding, modelling, data transformation and analytics is maintained.
Lead on delivering the coding, modelling, data transformation and analytics required, with opportunity to develop e.g. applying new approaches.
Coach and help to develop the more junior members of the team.
Own an area of team operations eg. Learning & Development, and contribute to the prioritisation of the Data Science roadmap.
What do we need from you?
You should have:
Technical skills:
You have built statistical models of real-world processes that help inform business decisions.
You have applied machine learning to a variety of problems that generated business value.
Youhave worked on Search and/or Recommendations systems
You have overseen the end-to-end delivery of data science products.
You are an experienced Python developer.
You are an experienced user of SQL.
You are comfortable using version control (Git)
AWS experience
Personal:
You are enthusiastic; and have a growth mindset and a get things done attitude.
You are comfortable working in a cross functional team and collaborating with colleagues in design, engineering and product
You are an innovator.
You are happy to take responsibility and be accountable for your decisions.
You want to help others around you develop and succeed.
You communicate well, in both speech and writing.

Care about building models that are used by real people to deliver the right content for them
