Job Summary

As aSenior Data Scientistfor the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, you will be pivotal in driving data-driven decisions that support personalized marketing strategies and optimized resource allocation. Your expertise in data analysis, predictive modeling, and segmentation will be essential for uncovering actionable insights into customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and emerging market trends. By leveraging large datasets, your work will enhance targeting precision, elevate campaign performance, and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the RCYC brand.

Essential Functions

  1. Analyze large datasets to generate insights into customer behavior and identify trends and preferences to inform targeted marketing strategies.
  2. Develop and refine predictive models to forecast customer actions and improve marketing and business outcomes.
  3. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to optimize campaign performance through advanced data analysis and segmentation.
  4. Provide data-driven recommendations for improving customer acquisition and retention, ensuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  5. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics, campaign performance, and business KPIs.
  6. Continuously explore and implement cutting-edge tools, methodologies, and algorithms to ensure best-in-class data analysis and predictive insights.
  7. Communicate complex data findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders, helping inform business decisions and resource allocation.
  8. Ability to operate independently and partner closely with the Technology organization to find the data needed for analyses.

Skills & Experience

  1. Proven experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and segmentation within a marketing or luxury/hospitality environment.
  2. Masters or equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  3. 3-5 years of experience in a data science or analytics role, with proven experience in developing statistical models to drive business impact.
  4. 3+ years of A/B testing experience.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, optimization, and experimentation techniques with large data sets.
  6. Expertise in using advanced analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury-focused environment, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and service excellence.
  9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  10. This is a full-time, hybrid, salaried position based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
  11. Domestic and international travel may be required.
  12. The role often requires flexible work hours, including working beyond regular business hours as necessary.
