Senior Data Platform Engineer – Python / AWS / Data Platforms – Remote
I am partnered with an European BioTech start-up having secured their Series A round of funding they are looking to expand their Engineering steam with addition of multiple mid-Senior engineers.

The business specialises in building tools and systems to further the drug discovery and infectious disease treatment industry.
The company were established in the late 2010’s and have steadily grown all aspects of the company.
Having recently secured funding the business Tech functions are at the forefront of their next growth phase. They currently have a tech team of <15 which is split into both Software & Data teams the backend team are looking to scale.
Role
You will be joining a growing team which works directly under the CTO and currently has a flat hierarchy with both experienced and more junior level engineers contributing to all aspect of delivery.
Within this position you will be contributing to the development of the business bespoke platform on AWS & Python which currently handles workflows such at ML training / Predictions. As a backend engineer you will be working tasked with scaling the companies analytics platform building new solutions for complex issues the wider business are looking to solve
