Who is your team?

You will be part of the Data Office, an international, cross-functional team comprising:

  • Data Modernization
  • Data Foundation

As a Data Foundation team, we drive data innovations from the core, ensuring data is secure, scalable, and intelligent.

Our mission? To build and maintain the foundation powering Kramp’s data-driven future. This includes enabling modern, secure, and scalable data infrastructure that ingests raw data and transforms it into valuable assets across the organization.

We’re leading transformation with cutting-edge tools like DBT Cloud, a modern tech stack, and a Data Mesh approach, fostering an environment where AI, machine learning, and automation can thrive.

The team is building Kramp's self-service analytics platform on Google Cloud Platform, feeding into:

  • Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Kramp's Machine Learning platform

What to expect:

The Data Office is an international, cross-functional team combining Business Intelligence, DevOps, FinOps, Data Science, and Software Development.

We work within Agile SCRUM methodologies using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Git).

Our state-of-the-art cloud data warehouse utilizes Python, Java, BigQuery SQL, and GCP services like Cloud Build, Data Transfers, Workflows, Schedulers, and Functions.

We make use of dbt cloud, Terraform, and Data Modeling tools.

This role offers deep insights into the operations of an international wholesaler amid digital transformation, allowing you to make a real impact and develop new ideas.

You will have the freedom to initiate and develop new ideas.

Who are you?

What will help you succeed?

  • Openness to continuous learning and agility in addressing business challenges
  • Experience designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining software in Python and/or Java, along with SQL dataflows
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles and choosing appropriate ones based on needs
  • Comfort working with Linux, git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines or eagerness to learn
  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably GCP or AWS)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, data transformation tools like dbt and Dataform
  • Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and adaptability to diverse backgrounds
  • Strong conceptual thinking and proactive decision-making
  • Experience with Striim is a plus
