Senior Data Engineer – Azure Synapse

The Job

Working as a Senior Data Engineer (Azure) with strong Azure Synapse you will develop and maintain data pipelines in SQL and PySpark.

Your job will involve working with the product team, architecture teams and data analytics teams to take user stories through the life cycle to functioning solutions creating their data platform.

You will be to integrate, consolidate, clean and structure data for analytics applications.

Specifically you will;

• Act as the domain expert around all things Azure Synapse.
• You will define tasks and automate manual processes.
• You will ensure that code quality is consistently high getting involved with DevOps.
• Mentor more junior data engineers

The product team here have been busy building use cases, meaning you are going to add significant value on day one.

About you

As a Senior Data engineer will have strong experience of Azure Synapse creating data pipelines with SQL and PySpark.

You will have knowledge of IaaS, Power BI and DevOps processes.

You will be a great communicator and keen to use your technical skills for a good purpose.

The money

£63,000 -69,000 + 10% pension + 35 hour week

The location

From the UK you can work remotely with 1 trip a month to the London office.
