Job Description
We're looking for an accomplished and motivated Senior Data Consultant to join our Experian Data Quality team in London, on a hybrid working pattern.
This is an ideal position for a Data expert with experience managing client relationships with a focus on providing consultative guidance on data management and data governance-related principles.
Reporting to the department Director, you will be a committed authority and hold responsibility for the design and management of databases/ data flows to ensure smooth business operations for out clients.
Main Responsibilities
You will develop conceptual data models to improve processes and add strategic value to the business. You will work with the Data Architects, Data Owners and IT Subject Matter Experts to analyse, document, and improve data quality across the applications. You will examine data, processes, and technologies to evaluate the current state and critical problems for both internal operations and external client projects. Be the subject matter expert for data management, data warehousing, data integration, data migration, business intelligence, analytics, and delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects.
Qualifications
Experience with analytics and data science, and technical expertise regarding data models and database design. Experience working with data processing tools such as Informatica, Talend, Alteryx. Experience of the full data migration process, source to target data mapping and data cleansing, data discovery, data analysis, data profiling techniques and procedures. Technical expertise in MS SQL or Oracle SQL and creating a data dictionary. Client-facing management experience.
