Senior Data Architect - FTC - Hybrid 2 days per week in the office.

My client, a global investment bank are seeking a Senior Data Architect who will be responsible for creating a Data strategy across the front and back office of the bank.

The organisation are currently in the midst of transitioning to cloud, with existing systems and services being migrated onto AWS. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Architect to play a key part in the organisations first move to cloud to meet the needs of the business and more importantly position themselves for further growth.

This Senior Data Architect will have 2 direct reports, as the business look to grow and build out their Data Architecture team.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Substantial experience as a Senior Data Architect
  • Experience migrating and building enterprise data platforms in AWS
  • Background in data development or engineering
  • Strong experience with SQL
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Knowledge of the full trade life-cycle
  • Self-starter and keen to drive initiatives to completion
  • Experience of been the go to person for data solutions within the business.
  • Experience of managing a small team.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
