Description:

We're working with a large, established client in the Banking sector who are looking to welcome Senior Data Solutions Architects onto the team as they undergo a large transformation program.

Key responsibilities:

• Take ownership of designing solution architectures, crafting strategic roadmaps for evolution, and overseeing the successful implementation of technology solutions that align with business objectives while adhering to the bank's standards and policies

• Shape and executesolution designs, ensuring they meet functional requirements and align with long-termtechnology roadmaps.

• Overseearchitecture management, driving continuous refinement and improvement of systems.

• Work with cutting-edgedata technology stacksand cloud infrastructure, balancing foundational data solutions with emergingAI and ML capabilities.

• Collaborate with delivery teams and engineers to defineproject scopesand technical blueprints, facilitating smooth delivery of new functionalities in anagile environment.

• Assesssystem designs and operational performance, identifying opportunities foroptimization and efficiency.

• Engage withcross-functional teams-including Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers-to ensure solutions are both effective and aligned with internal standards.

Qualifications:

• Agile Delivery Expertise- Extensive experience indriving technical solutionswithin agile frameworks.
• Solution Architecture Proficiency- Demonstrated success in designingrobust solution architectures, particularly indata platforms and complex pipelines, preferably withincloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Deep Application Design Knowledge- Expertise in architectinglow-latency, scalable solutionsto meet performance, availability, and resilience needs.
• Data Architecture Mastery- Skilled in developingbatch and streaming data pipelinesacrosson-premises and cloud ecosystems, with a strong grasp ofdata processing workflows (ETL/ELT, orchestration)and database technologies (relational, NoSQL).
• Analytical Problem-Solver- Ability to tackle complex challenges withstrategic and innovative solutionsthat ensure scalability and reliability.
• Strong Communicator & Collaborator- Able to influence and engage stakeholders witheffective communication and interpersonal skills.
• CI/CD & Automation Experience- Comprehensive understanding ofautomated deployment pipelines
