Job Description

  • Work closely with stakeholders to execute discoveries and understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions that are scalable, highly performant and available. Communicating data architecture and findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely
  • Apply data architecture design to solve complex problems such as design and implement enterprise-wide data architectures to aligns with business and technology strategies.
  • Develop data strategies, and governance architectures, including technology, people and process perspectives
  • Develop data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for databases, data lakes, and warehouses.
  • Data integration with other systems and platforms through APIs and middleware which could include integrating data from multiple sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Contribute to the productionisation of new data capabilities / solutions through Discovery, prototyping, requirements setting and implementation
  • Deliver customer value through understanding the context within which data solutions are being deployed

Qualifications

Technical:

  • Hands-on experience with Data Platforms (Azure, AWS, Informatica).

  • Knowledge of data modelling (e.g., Kimball, Star Schema, Data Vault).

  • Proficient in cloud and DataOps solutions especially with Azure or AWS stack and including event streaming (Azure Event Hubs, Kafka).

  • Experience with Big Data Solutions(Hadoop, Cassandra).

  • Understanding of compliance (GDPR, ISO 22701) and frameworks (TOGAF, DAMA).

  • Skilled with architecture tools (Visio, Draw.io, Archi, SparxEA).

General:

  • Eligible for Security Clearance.

  • 5+ years in data roles, including 2+ years in data architecture (public/private sector).

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills; contribute to pre-sales and practice growth.

  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

  • Active in data standards, open-source, or industry forums.
