Reporting to: Head of Data
Job Location: THG HQ, 7-9 Sunbank Lane, Altrincham, WA15 0AF (Fully office based)

Role

We are recruiting a Senior Data Analyst to join the Nutrition Data Team to lead our retail analytics and product insights functions. You will drive actionable business insights through data, manage data-driven projects across teams, and mentor a small team of data analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the use of data to drive business strategy and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Query internal databases using SQL and Big Query to support ad-hoc analyses and automated reporting pipelines.
  • Build reliable data structures and pipelines for external data sources across retail partners and market insights.
  • Collaborate with retail, marketing and trading teams to identify opportunities for positive strategic change.
  • Set expectations with stakeholders and deliver clear, concise insights and communications.
  • Mentor and manage other analysts, ensuring workloads are balanced and best practices are followed in data presentation and coding.

  • Ability to work across multiple teams with an approachable, supportive manner.
  • A passion for data with a drive to champion its use across the business and a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly adaptable and analytical, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo when backed by data.
  • Technical skills: SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, Python.
  • Experience with a visualisation tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
