Job Title:Senior Data Analyst (Finance)

Location:London (Hybrid Working)

Salary:£80,000 + up to 30% bonus

Role Overview:I've partnered with a client who are looking for an Analyst with a Finance background who has expertise in Power BI. This autonomous, consultative role involves engaging with various finance and business functions, supporting financial reporting, and driving interactive data solutions using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver financial reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Engage with finance and business teams to capture reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment with FP&A and financial reporting standards.
• Work closely with procurement and other B2B functions to develop interactive, work-in-progress reports.
• Provide expertise on regional and global tax nuances for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with teams implementing Dynamics, ensuring a smooth go-live process.
• Act as a liaison between technical and finance teams, speaking the language of finance professionals.
• Deliver consultative insights, asking the right questions to extract accurate requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Accounting Background
• Extensive experience in Power BI with a focus on finance reporting.
• Strong corporate finance reporting experience, preferably in a global context.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a consultative capacity.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver proof of concepts and data visualisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of regional and global tax implications.
