Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. As a Data Analyst at Anomali, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations to help the company make strategic decisions.

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships.
  • Lead complex data analysis projects, develop machine learning models, and provide strategic recommendations that drive business decisions.
  • Design, develop and implement advanced analytics frameworks, data collection systems, and reporting infrastructure across the organization.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, establish analytical best practices, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Develop automated data pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work closely with management and diverse stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs, as well as identify opportunities for growth, optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Define and lead new process improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive analysis.
  • Communicate analysis and findings to stakeholders through clear and engaging reports and visualizations.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of and advanced proficiency with SQL, reporting and visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) databases and querying (SQL, etc.), and programming (Python, R, etc.).
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
  • Deep expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, data mining, and working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data governance, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • This is a hybrid position working onsite at our Belfast office. This position is not remote.
  • This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must be able to work freely at our Belfast location.
  • Any cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
