Location: Enfield Civic Centre, Enfield Council EN1 3XA
Start Date: 2nd June 2025
End Date: 29th August 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (36 hours per week)
Pay Rate: 23.45 per hour (umbrella)
Closing Date: Thursday 22nd May 2025 at 5pm

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Council Housing Asset and Data Management team at Enfield Council. This is a key role supporting the Asset Team, Capital Programme Team and Compliance Team with managing data, insight and statutory return reporting.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will take the lead on managing housing stock asset data and reporting, contributing to the planning of annual, five year and thirty year asset programmes. You will also take responsibility for analysing repairs and maintenance data, identifying delivery trends and contractor performance to help improve service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in asset data management within a housing or local government environment, along with advanced Excel and SQL skills. You will manage a small team of two Data Analyst Officers and report directly to the Building Safety and Asset Information Manager.

Key responsibilities include

Managing, supervising and developing the asset data analysis team

Leading on the delivery of housing asset data analysis and insight

Analysing housing repairs and maintenance data to support performance improvement

Providing technical advice and data reporting for asset management and stock condition planning

Supporting digital strategy and data systems implementation

Delivering service improvements through data insight

Managing projects including asset surveys and ICT software upgrades

Contributing to budget forecasting and NPV modelling

Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Representing the team at Housing Board meetings and other forums

This role is covering a vacant post and offers a fantastic opportunity to make an impact on the council's housing data strategy and service delivery.
