We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Smokefree Lancashire service. The new post holder will join our dedicated regional team providing efficiency and excellence across all data requirements for our services and the organisation.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring all data requirements are met for a portfolio of services Ensure data processes and systems are efficient, effective and meet the needs of all stakeholders. Recognise and understand key performance indicators and compile regular data quality and performance reports to respective teams Conduct data analysis to discover useful insight and valuable information and provide creative suggestions to make changes in service delivery and across the region and organisation Undertake data analysis to ensure activity, performance and all other reporting needs are met Interpret and make use of internal and external reports and ensure activity is appropriately reflected Communicate findings effectively and appropriate to the audience Ensure data submissions, such as NHS Digital, are completed ahead of schedule and to the quality required. Attend meetings with stakeholders and host or chair meetings where appropriate Design and deliver training, both formal and informal, to a range of stakeholders and new starters

About you:

Work flexibly across operational sites as required Work flexibly within an agreed number of hours of work to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision, including evenings and weekends where applicable Seek to improve personal performance, contribution, knowledge and skills Keep abreast of developments in services, legislation and practice as well as industry data frameworks (NHS Digitial) and new technologies Share knowledge and work collaboratively with colleagues Form part of an effective team Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment
