Job Description

In this role you will own the design and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions for our customers. We are looking for a candidate with proven Business Intelligence technical skills, a good understanding of business processes and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and who will be able to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions for our customers

The focus of your work will be advising our clients from a wide range of industries in the business and technical core topics of controlling, finance, group accounting and data management.

You will act as an interface between IT and the specialist department. You will Advise, Design and make a decisive contribution, ensuring that the requirements of business intelligence solutions can be defined and implemented smoothly.

This can include conducting scoping exercises, requirements assessments, project management, conducting workshops, and more.

You will work mostly in our customers' Azure or AWS cloud-based environments, creating functional and technical designs. You will then implement the BI solutions based on your design and conduct customer training.

There is a comprehensive one-week onboarding program and quick ramp up on IDL product offering with the objective to become billable within weeks and fully independent within 6 months.

You will become a trusted advisor to the customers with whom you are working within 6 months.



Qualifications

  • Practical experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server as well as MS SQL Server Integration Services or MS SQL Server Analysis Services – certification as MCSA MS SQL Server desirable.
  • You have practical experience in (multi-)dimensional data modelling and are also enthusiastic about related concepts such as Data Vault.
  • You have methodological knowledge of ETL and data integration processes. Data structures from databases, ERP, CRM and other operational systems or other APIs.
  • You have excellent knowledge of SQL, are confident in dealing with relational databases and have already been able to prove this in larger BI projects.
  • Degree in business information systems or computer science or comparable professional experience.
  • Fluency is both German and English is essential.
