Senior Commercial Data Analyst

PHMG is continuing its transformation into a data-driven organisation, and this phase of growth requires a Senior Commercial Data Analyst with the commercial acumen and technical capability to help power our revenue efficiency and strategic decision-making. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, sales, and business strategy.

We're seeking an experienced data professional who can operate as a strategic partner to Sales leadershipproactively surfacing opportunities, designing workflows, and delivering analytical outputs that directly influence revenue outcomes. You will be working closely with key stakeholders to shape how data informs commercial decisions and will be a central figure in how we enable smarter selling across PHMG.

The Role: What you will do

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Operate as a trusted data partner to Sales leadershipunderstanding their needs, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insight-driven recommendations.
  • Data Strategy & Design : Lead the design of data workflows and processes to support effective campaigning, segmentation, and pipeline management.
  • Lead Enablement: Build and optimise mechanisms that deliver high-quality, actionable leads, supporting revenue growth across B2B sales.
  • Commercial Campaign Intelligence: Collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders to define, execute, and measure data-enabled campaigns.
  • Data Prioritisation: Develop customer segmentation models, opportunity scoring, and predictive metrics to support go-to-market planning.
  • Workflow Automation: Partner with engineering teams to design and oversee the implementation of automated, scalable data pipelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with BI, Data Engineering, and Marketing teams to align commercial data efforts with broader business goals.
  • Insight Communication: Present analytical findings and strategic insights to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making with confidence.
  • Sales Process Insight: Analyse and refine sales processes, uncovering inefficiencies and proposing enhancements to improve performance and conversion.

You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in a stakeholder-facing data roleparticularly supporting B2B sales teams.
  • Strong commercial mindset with an ability to connect data activities to business impact.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and optimising data-driven sales workflows and campaigning processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Hands-on skills in data manipulation using SQL or Python.
  • A clear understanding of sales process design and CRM data (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Experience in implementing or contributing to sales enablement or lead generation strategies.
  • Working knowledge of data architecture and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions (Snowflake experience desirable).
