Are you passionate about transforming data into powerful insights? Join us at Aston University and play a key role in delivering our Aston 2030 Strategy by developing new data, analytics and business intelligence capabilities throughout the University.

We're looking for someone who thrives on innovation and collaboration. As the successful candidate, you'll be responsible for the implementation and development of new data and analytics products - from the gathering of requirements and development of user stories to working closely with the team and our vendor to ensure our data landscape is scalable and efficient for not only the Power BI development but also to have the capabilities to build department specific data models to aid in self-service capabilities.

You will bring expertise in data engineering and data visualisation, demonstrating innovation in the development of new approaches for data visualisation dashboards to ensure each product is intuitive, scalable and available for mobile technologies as well as normal web delivery.

The successful candidate will be confident in training and supporting junior team members who are embarking on their careers in data visualisation to encourage the democratisation of data and promotion of a data culture. You will be proficient in data management concepts, including: discovery, modelling, development, testing, training, and support-always guided by best practices.
