Data, Analytics and AI Recruitment Lead @ SF Technology Solutions | IT Recruitment

We’re looking for a hands-on BI Developer to take full ownership of reporting and data delivery in a long-established, growing business. This is a standalone role, ideal for someone who enjoys building Power BI dashboards, writing SQL queries, and providing light support to an existing data warehouse environment.

You’ll be working closely with stakeholders across the business to scope out reporting requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and deliver dashboards and reports usingPower BIandSSRS.
  • Build and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting needs.
  • Support and maintain existingETL workflows (SSIS)and the Data Warehouse – focusing on tweaks and improvements rather than new builds.
  • Work withAnalysis Cubes (SSAS)to support stakeholder reporting.
  • Engage with users across commercial and operational teams to gather requirements and provide training on reporting systems.
  • Monitor and optimise SQL environments to ensure performance and reliability.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven hands-on experience withPower BI, DAX, and data modelling.
  • Strong SQL skills for report building, data extraction, and minor backend support.
  • Knowledge ofSSRSand maintaining existing SSIS packages.
  • Comfortable working independently and scoping reporting requirements directly with stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Exposure to Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP systems.
  • Full ownership of BI reporting in a business that values autonomy.
  • A supportive, down-to-earth culture with collaborative teams.
