Job description
About the role
We are looking for a senior analyst to work alongside our existing teams with a specific focus on the development of data warehouses. This includes links across to social care warehouses, and the creation of new reports for front line services. A strong expertise is a must and being familiar with the construction of data warehouses / data lakes. Ideally you will have experience of working with education datasets and relevant experience of inspections. The role will also involve working with business areas to inform and develop data structures.
This role is available only as an internal secondment for 12 months.
This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
About you
While we are looking for experience in SQL, data warehouses and education / social care data, above all we want you to be enthusiastic about data, analysing it, collating it, and presenting it.
You will need to have some experience in dealing with stakeholders, in managing a project, and in presenting complex datasets in an easy-to-understand way. However, you will be fully supported by the Principal Business Intelligence lead for each area.
Perhaps you're coming to us as an experienced analyst already, or pivoting from a project manager role? This is fantastic opportunity to spread your wings and contribute to a vital area of our work.
