Senior BI Analyst

Location: Bromsgrove
Job Type: Full-time
Hybrid - one day a week in officeMy client is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join a newly established BI Team within their successful firm. This role involves supporting the creation of key reports and ad-hoc analysis for across the Board, maintaining these reports and dashboards, and providing end-to-end project support.

Day-to-day of the role:

Produce high-quality reporting solutions and dashboards using Power BI, tailored to stakeholder requirements.
Conduct deep-dive data analysis to uncover layered insights and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust reporting solutions.
Manage and respond to queries from stakeholders and SMEs regarding reporting amendments or issues.
Propose creative solutions and new technologies to enhance business intelligence support for the Board and wider business teams.
Automate reporting processes in collaboration with other BI and Data Team members.
Provide guidance on data interpretation across the business.
Maintain and create documentation for developed products.
Mentor and provide oversight to other technical team members, ensuring timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience in BI and reporting development, particularly with SQL scripting and data modelling.
Proficient in Power BI (Desktop and Online) and Excel.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically using Kanban boards.
Strong ability to build exceptional working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
