Senior Asset Data Analyst - Manchester - £36-46k

My clients is looking for a Senior Asset Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills, who can apply asset management concepts when compiling data and analysis to support their asset investment projects

You will be a senior member of the asset strategy team will be able to effectively summarise key outcomes from large, complex, data sets, be a proven team player who can work effectively alongside other analysts, be willing to sharing your knowledge, set the example of best practice, and drive continuous improvement of the asset investment service.

Responsibilities:

- Developing the Major Works investment plan of up to £m pa in what will be the largest capital investment programme in the sector
- Managing in year requests for updates to the annual programmes of works through a defined adds and omits process in a timely manner
- Championing new ways of working including the use of technology eg Power BI to improve the way we develop our programmes
- Working with stakeholders across the business to deliver the largest positive impact to our residents including plans for Net Zero energy retrofit measures
- Support the communication of those plans to internal and external stakeholders

Required Experience:

- Ability to manipulate, link, manage, and update complex data sets accurately and in a controlled way. Advanced MS Excel skills along with understanding of Database configuration
- Demonstrable advanced technical knowledge of asset management principles, developing investment plans, stock condition and compliance, analysis and reporting
- Evidence of advanced analytical skills, gleaned from a minimum of 3 years' experience in asset management data analysis.
- Able to interpret, quantify and summarise information from multiple sources, distinguishing statistical significance, drivers, risks and opportunities
- Experience coaching/mentoring or leading others
- Strong Excel and Power BI knowledge
