Job Summary

Role: MDG Lead Consultant
Location: Slough
Work Mode: Hybrid
Contract Duration: 6 months


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions.
  • Provide expertise in SAP MDG modules, data governance principles, and technical architecture.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage SAP MDG configurations, customizations, workflows, validation rules, and integration points.
  • Implement integrations between SAP MDG and other SAP/non-SAP systems using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web services.
  • Prepare documentation for architectural designs, configurations, customizations, and integration specifications.
  • Assess implementation risks and potential impacts.
  • Understand and manage data migration projects and tools.

Must-Have Skills

  • SAP Basis, SAP on Cloud (Azure), S/4 HANA, SAP HANA DB
  • Operating Systems: Windows and Linux
  • SAP MDG modules: BP, MM, OG
  • Deep knowledge of MDG configuration, customization, and integration
  • Experience with ERP and BI system integrations
  • Strong understanding of data migration concepts

Preferred Skills / Traits

  • Experience as an MDG Architect
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem-solving approach

Minimum 10+ years of relevant SAP/MDG experience
