Following the market growth and our recent acquisitions, NTT DATA Business Solutions are increasing the portfolio of tools and data services they are providing to customers.

As part of this initiative, NTT DATA are recruiting a Senior Data Migration Consultant.

As a key member of our team, reporting to a Data Team Manager, you will be responsible for participating in or leading one or more Data Migration Projects across various engagements, and work with pre-sales and delivery stakeholders to consult with customers in data management, tools, technologies, and processes.

It’s envisaged that you will have previous Data Migration experience along with experience of SAP data migration across a range of technologies.

This is a Hybrid role you will be based from home, with visits to NTT DATA offices and client sites when required.

Overall objectives for this role are:

• To work in Data Migration engagements with our clients and partners, covering the full ETL process chain, from early assessments of data scope all the way through to Post GoLive Support and outside-project support.

• Become, through dedicated training, one of our new Natuvion DCS technology champions, which is the latest Selective Data Transformation toolset in the NTT Data portfolio

• To manage stakeholder relationships and expectations on all client engagement phases, representing the Data Practice internally and externally

• To support data practice capability development by continuously improving the engagement methodology and providing collective feedback on our proprietary data toolsets towards the toolset owners

Experience & Background:

• Good experience of SAP data migration tools and their respective processes (e.g. Migration Cockpit, Data Services, LSMW, etc).

• Experience working with selective data transition tool sets is desired but not essential.

• Experience in using ABAP to develop data migration routines.

• Beneficial would be some experience of data archiving tools and Master Data Governance tools and their respective processes (e.g. MDG, etc)

• Not required, but beneficial would-be experiences with non-SAP data models and software

• Experience of working in pre-sales and responding to RFPs would be beneficial

• Experience of building and coaching teams in the data space

• Experience of working with 3rd party providers of Data Management software, ideally within larger implementation projects

• Experience of working with multiple global teams across different time zones and flexibility to work extended hours and travel where required

• Demonstrates a high level of personal responsibility, pragmatism, and autonomy, planning own work to meet given objectives within a defined framework

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills with good attention to detail

• Experience through multiple end-to-end large SAP ERP transformation projects

• Experience with working through all SAP activate phases and Understanding of SAP ACTIVATE methodology more generally would be beneficial

• Ability to plan, manage and QA check workstream deliverables.

• Ability to carry out a project stream risk assessment and escalate as required suggesting pragmatic solutions.

• Actively shares and transfers own expertise and operational knowledge in a structured method, thus making it useful and functional.
