We are looking to hire a Sales Data Analyst to join our team!


You will be an integral part of our global team with a key focus to review and enhance our analysis of our current sales reporting, identifying areas for targeted reporting and analysis of business written and providing necessary weekly, monthly and reporting analysis and commentary to assist with budgeting and forecast. Data driven Analyst with extensive experience of Excel and Power BI required to join a successful organisation. The Sales Data Analyst will provide internal management reporting and market analysis to support sales activity and improve sales productivity, as well as support to other functions.


You will be working alongside some of the very best industry experts, partnering with some of the world’s leading technology organisations (such as Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Nokia and Vodafone) who are continuing to deliver digital transformation to organisations across the world.


JOB PURPOSE:


To gather, develop, enhance and analyse sales data supporting the improvement of decision making as a business

Critical tool to drive performance across the sales teams.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Responsible for the review and enhancement of management reporting framework

• Analysing data, deriving insights and making meaningful suggestions to improve the business. Hold responsibility for data integrity, freshness and cleanliness of CRM and work with the team to achieve this

• Support the Group Sales Director and Group Managing Director in discovering insightful trends within behaviours, inputs and outputs to support development of strategy

• Analysing sales financial results and identifying trends to help improve the sales financial performance.

• Preparing weekly & monthly sales focussed reports on revenue and gross profit, including both financial & non-financial data.

• Providing analysis and commentary, communicating the insights of the reports and trends to business management

• Generating & maintaining sales dashboards for sales teams and business managers

• Support sales teams in preparation of request for quote (RFQs) and qualification of opportunities

• Liaising with stakeholders throughout the business on data quality

• First point of contact for reporting & sales data queries

• Be a driver of change within the business to support overall strategies. Develop methods to track performance and demonstrate success or failure.

• Collaborate with, and support, the operations/sales/finance team on tasks that require changes and alterations to CRM and reports

• Responsible for training end users of systems to ensure consistency of completion and update of platform data on Mercury system (a Microsoft Dynamics based CRM).

• Preparation and consolidation of sales budgets and forecasts

• Ad hoc projects as directed by your manager


EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS (Essential and preferable):


• It is key you have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate) and Power BI bespoke reporting (Essential)

• Cloud based Finance and CRM Systems hands on experience (Essential)

• Strong analytical and numerical skills which would have included analytical experience in interpreting sales data (Essential)

• Educated to degree standard in Finance, Business or Accountancy

• Recruitment or Professional Services Industry (highly desirable)

• Interim/Advanced Excel

• Power BI & Mercury knowledge

• Business Central / NAV / D365

• Jet Reports

• Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Mercury XRM

• Educated to degree standard

• 3+ years' experience working with SQL in a commercial environment.

• Experience working with customer data or sales data.

• Excellent communication: clear, concise & articulate.
